I’m Vanessa, a Florida native who loves everything about the Sunshine State - from the sports and reggae music to the theme parks and the ocean. I live in Orlando with my husband, Derek, and my stepson, Dylan. I have always been a curious lover of learning with a diverse range of interests - whether playing and coaching volleyball, contributing to scientific research, practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, or in my work as a paralegal.

I started as a self-taught photographer, using whatever DSLR camera I could get my hands on. In 2017, right before Derek and I eloped, he surprised me with my first camera - a massive upgrade from the older models I had been dabbling with.

Since then, I have been taking photos for fun and my loved ones, developing my style and skills while always aiming to make people feel natural in front of the camera. Now, thanks to the support and encouragement of my friends and family, I’ve decided to step out of the comfort zone of friends and family and to share my craft with my community. It’s a bit scary, but I’m excited for the new challenges and learning opportunities ahead.
